Studi Magrebini is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal based at University of Naples “L’Orientale” since 1966 and published by Brill (Leiden) starting from 2019. The Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes ranked Studi Magrebini as class A scientific journal for Political and Social Sciences (Area 14).
The journal is published twice a year. The area of interest is the Maghreb and its relations with the MENA region, Europe and Africa. Our journal adopts an interdisciplinary and diachronic perspective, focusing on history, religion, law, literatures, philosophy, philology, art, economics of the Magreb and MENA region.
Studi Magrebini welcomes previously unpublished articles and dossier for the 2021 and 2022 issues.
We encourage scholars (both senior and young researchers) interested in publishing in Studi Magrebini to submit a title and a short abstract of their contribution by the end of March 2020.

Manuscripts should be written in English, French, Italian.
