On 9 February 2024, a meeting was held at the Rector's Office between representatives of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide of Sevilla (Spain) and the Universidad Orientale. The meeting was attended, for the Orientale, by the Pro-rector for Internationalisation, Augusto Guarino, and the representatives of the departments and doctorates, Marina di Filippo and Raffaele Nocera, while for the Pablo de Olavide the pro-rectors José Antonio Sánchez Medina (deputy pro-rector) were present,
Laura López de la Cruz (Vice-rectora de Relaciones Institucionales y Fundaciones), Antonia Jiménez Rodríguez (Vicerrectora de Investigación, Transferencia y Doctorado), David Naranjo Gil (Vicerrector de Internacionalización). At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of scientific and educational collaboration was signed, aimed at greater integration between the two universities, which are also partners in the EU-WORLD European project.
