International Development. Book Presentation with author Michael Woolcock, Harvard University

On 13 November, at Palazzo Corigliano 8.30-10.30 a.m., Professor Michael Woolcock from Harvard University will present his latest book International Development. Navigating Humanity’s Greatest Challenge within the activities of the Course on International Development Cooperation led by Prof. Valeria Saggiomo. The book is a compendium of Prof. Woolcock's thoughts on development as a contentious process, his thirty-year research activity as a social scientist, and his long work experience in the Development Research Group at the World Bank. Woolcock will discuss his view on how to interpret and promote development, in dialogue with Luca Meldolesi and Nicoletta Stame from A Colorni-Hirschman International Institute (ACHII).
