Azioni ERASMUS+

Oltre alla mobilità individuale ai fini dell'apprendimento finanziata attraverso l'Azione Chiave 1, il Programma Erasmus+ finanzia progetti internazionali nell'ambito di altre due Azioni Chiave:

Azione chiave 2: innovazione e buone pratiche

L’Azione chiave 2 (o Key Action 2 – KA2) punta a sviluppare i settori dell’istruzione, della formazione e della gioventù mediante cinque attività principali:

  • partenariati strategici, volti a sostenere pratiche innovative e iniziative comuni per promuovere la collaborazione, l’apprendimento reciproco e lo scambio di esperienze;
  • alleanze per la conoscenza, intese a promuovere l’innovazione nell’istruzione superiore, e attraverso di essa, insieme alle imprese, nonché a favorire nuovi approcci all’insegnamento e all’apprendimento, lo spirito imprenditoriale negli studi universitari e la modernizzazione dei sistemi di istruzione superiore in Europa;
  • alleanze per le abilità settoriali, per rispondere al fabbisogno di qualifiche ed allineare i sistemi di istruzione e formazione professionale alle esigenze del mercato del lavoro. Non mancano opportunità di modernizzare l’istruzione e formazione professionale, favorire lo scambio di conoscenze e buone pratiche, incoraggiare le attività professionali all’estero e accrescere il riconoscimento delle qualifiche;
  • progetti disviluppo delle competenze nel campo dell’istruzione superiore, per sostenere la modernizzazione, l’accessibilità e l’internazionalizzazione dell’istruzione superiore nei Paesi partner;

Titolo del progetto: Sea of Laws: Resolving International Marine Resources Disputes through Legal Frameworks

Responsabile del progetto: prof. Giuseppe Cataldi

Settori disciplinari / settori ERC coinvolti:

Data inizio progetto: 01/11/2024

Data fine progetto: 31/10/2027

Acronimo: SEA OF LAWS

Website: https://seaoflaws.eu/

Abstract: In an increasingly interconnected world facing the dual challenges of resource scarcity and escalating environmental pollution, international relations can become unstable and the direct impact of these conflicts on global economy and society can lead to decreased quality of life.
This project, positioned at the intersection of international law and European Union policies, seeks to address these challenges by exploring and leveraging the potential of international legal instruments and policies to tackle conflicts and disputes over marine resources access and management.
The background of the project is rooted in a growing recognition of the oceans' vast, yet finite, resources which have become a focal point for international disputes which encompass a range of issues, from territorial claims and rights to underwater mineral resources, to the environmental impact of deep-sea exploration and exploitation.
The legal frameworks governing these resources are multifaceted and continually evolving, necessitating a deep and nuanced understanding of international maritime law, environmental regulations, and geopolitical dynamics.

Website: https://ai-coded.unior.it/

Abstract: The objective of the proposal is to create a Centre of Excellence on Artificial Intelligence and Communication in a Digitalised European Democracy (“AI-CoDED”) to set up an interdisciplinary structure of research, teaching and debate focused on the legal, socioeconomic and political issues arising from the use of AI in commercial, political and public sector communication. Through a multilevel and interdisciplinary approach, the Centre will addresses aims, functions and policies of the European Union related to those issues, that need a comprehensive understanding, generate knowledge that can support EU policy-making and strengthen the role of the EU in a globalized world, foster dialogue between the academic world and society and ensure active outreach and educational work to spread knowledge about EU subjects to wider society and bring the EU closer to the public. These objectives will be pursued through hybrid interdisciplinary workshops (n. 3, expected audience 40 each), a final international and interdisciplinary conference (expect. aud. of 100), one hackathon (expect. aud. 60), one empowerment course on bottom-up evaluation of local institutions' communication policies via digital media (expect. aud. 50), public engagement lectures (n. 2, expect. aud. 100), Book Clubs (n. 3, expect. aud. 90), two visiting fellowships and one research fellowship. Those activities will be addressed to a wide array of stakeholders, including those who are normally not in touch with European studies, such as representatives of different levels of education and media, policymakers, civil servants and students. Among their outputs, the Best Practices on Human rights and Digital Platforms (1) and Policy Recommendations for Countering Disinformation and Fake News (1), one dedicated website, digital tools to spread awareness through the public (n. 12) and one volume (250 copies). The Centre will contribute to promote an active European citizenship and the founding values of EU.

Acronimo: FOM@PLAY

Website: https://www.um.es/fomatplay/

Abstract: FOM@PLAY is an international project that is collecting, analysing and will soon disseminate stories of EU citizens that live and work in an EU country different from their own.
Using cutting-edge digital technologies, corpus-linguistics and critical discourse analysis, FOM@PLAY provides opportunities for engagement and learning to students and staff in the institutions involved and the wider public in the EU. Awareness activities include an EU online seminar, a summer school, an exhibition, international and national events and a social media campaign.
FOM@PLAY seeks to promote EU citizenship values across the participating institutions and countries by devising alternative pedagogic approaches. We seek to achieve the following results:  We will (a) put together and share free digital resources with EU citizens’ alternative discourses on migration experiences;  (b) foster awareness about EU values and FOM in the target users of the project; (c) develop off-the-shelf resources for educators and citizens across the EU on migrants’ lives and FOM.
FOM@PLAY sets out to contribute to the prevention of racism and discrimination by facilitating the dissemination and analysis of alternative discourses around “migration” within EU countries that can counterbalance hate speech against migrants and EU citizens from other EU countries.

Titolo del progetto: Geo-philosophy of the Balkans

Responsabile del progetto: prof.ssa Elena Tavani

Settori disciplinari / settori ERC coinvolti:

Data inizio progetto: 2020

Data fine progetto: 2023

Acronimo: GEOBALKANS

Website: https://www.geobalkans.eu/the-project/

Abstract: GEOBALKANS aims to modernize educational approaches on crucial issues related to (self)understanding of the region to face up the current and future challenges of reconciliation and Europeanisation. It starts from the premise that the studies on social and political history and philosophy of the Balkans are mostly nationally biased, lacking trans-disciplinary dimension and conducted outside of the region. The latter, despite the sound academic dimension, do not offer flexible learning opportunities such as distance learning etc. Based on this, GEOBALKANS’ main objective is the establishment of a joint, combined and integrated, trans-Balkan and trans-European ‘state of the art’ school that will fuse the best European practices in the study of the respective fields, giving them a sound regional dimension, supported through trans-disciplinary cutting-edge methodologies and cooperation in social sciences, humanities and natural sciences, flexible (conventional and digital) study approaches and covered by distinguished regional and European experts in the field.

Acronimo: DiCit

Website: https://www.jmdicitunior.eu/homesite/5/1/project.html

Abstract: DiCit Project aspires first and foremost to set up a summer school and promote further research and discussion meetings, dedicated to the many aspects related to the ongoing digital revolution, during which academics and experts in the field can confront each other. These events will not be limited to legal scholars, but they will be open to experts in other areas (communication ethics, psychology, etc.), as well as to representatives of civil society and public institutions. The final aim of these activities will be the drafting of a European Digital Citizenship Charter (hereinafter the “Charter”), in which the set of rights and duties of a European digital citizen will be developed and illustrated in light of the complex supranational legal sources that regulate the use of the digital environment. The Charter aims to be not only the product of the debate of the researchers and stakeholders involved but also a tool for the dissemination and circulation of the results of this debate; but above all, the Charter will be drawn up in the form of a document to be transformed into an open digital resource and made available to the public as a basis for the discussion of issues related to digital citizenship and for communication between the stakeholders involved and the recipients of the activities to be carried out by the same stakeholders. In doing so, DiCit will promote active European citizenship and values and contribute to the diffusion of these EU values, therefore enhancing awareness of the role played by the European Union in this field. At the same time, DiCit will foster the development of new and openly accessible teaching and debating activities.
