- Missione 2 “Rivoluzione Verde e Transizione Ecologica”
- Missione 3 “Infrastrutture per una Mobilità Sostenibile”
- Missione 4 “Istruzione e Ricerca”
- Missione 5 “Inclusione e Coesione”
- Missione 6 “Salute”
Missione 4 “Istruzione e Ricerca”
La componente 2 “Dalla Ricerca all’Impresa” intende:
- Rafforzare la ricerca e favorire la diffusione di modelli innovativi per la ricerca di base e applicata condotta in sinergia tra università e imprese
- Sostenere i processi per l’innovazione e il trasferimento tecnologico
- Potenziare le infrastrutture di ricerca, il capitale e le competenze di supporto all’innovazione

Abstract: The three-year project seeks to build upon and expand the methodological approach and research outcomes developed within the completed MSCA project, applying them to new investigative domains. Its overarching objective is to advance current knowledge on the production processes of the so-called “yellow coffins,” a long-debated issue in Egyptology due to the scarcity of archaeological evidence. Through an integrated analysis of the sculptural features of the burials and the associated material culture (including masks, jewelry, and related artifacts), the project aims to provide new insights into the identity, techniques, and workshop organization of the artisans engaged in the creation of this specific category of tombs.

Abstract: The project aims to challenge the traditional boundaries of the High Renaissance, conventionally understood as a phenomenon centered exclusively in Europe, by exploring alternative geographies of late Mannerist and Baroque aesthetics. Drawing on the deconstructivist concept of the rhizome, the project focuses on the little-studied artistic activity of the Florentine Jesuit painter Bartolomeo Fontebuoni during his extended stay in southern India (1605–1627). It investigates his career as a coadiutor temporalis in various missionary centers, as well as his connections with the Jesuit missions established at the Mughal court, in Ethiopia, and in China.

Abstract: The project aims to foster the creative industry as a space for promoting independent thinking in Italian society and changing the media paradigm and approach to artificial intelligence (generative AI as a tool to be governed, rather than a phenomenon to be endured). This will create a class of policy makers equipped with critical thinking to foster a context of growth and experimentation capable of staying ahead of global competition, thus strengthening Italian creativity and Made in Italy. In particular, it is aimed at creating an online and offline Academy on generative artificial intelligence, designed and prototyped in the Basilicata and Campania regions and aimed at three targets: cultural institutions, artists and ICCs.

Abstract: The project envisions the creation of a digital platform to promote the "widespread museum experience" found in "peripheral" local contexts or with small collections, known primarily to specialists. The project's case study focuses on the museum system of the Suor Orsola Benincasa Institute. The Suor Orsola Benincasa University (UNISOB) has been working for years to facilitate the use of its important art collections through the development of a platform that allows visitors to visit various virtual exhibitions online: the "Digital Exhibitions" platform. To date, six exhibitions are available on the platform, accessible online and in 3D.

Abstract: The proposal aims to establish a methodological framework to facilitate dialogue on socio-environmental risks, ecosystem degradation, and environmental risks related to climate change and their management among citizens and institutions operating at various levels of governance. As widely documented in the literature, the perception of environmental risks, ecosystem degradation, and the impacts of climate change is influenced by a number of individual and collective factors. These include cognitive aspects, such as risk awareness and understanding, which are shaped by familiarity with climate change and access to relevant information. In addition, contextual, historical, and socio-cultural factors, such as previous experiences of disasters, local traditions, and social pressures, play a significant role in shaping community preparedness and resilience. Trust in government and private institutions further influences behaviors. Based on previous research conducted in various geographical contexts, the project seeks to analyze perception patterns related to environmental risks, ecosystem degradation, and the impacts of climate change in three urban contexts under study. To this end, CITIES will carry out specific activities: Documentary analysis of the risk landscape of the pilot cases (Bacoli, Enna, and Macerata); Focus groups with institutions and key informants (such as scholars and researchers) to identify the limitations of current risk management; Online surveys to be distributed to the population; Working groups involving representatives of focus groups and institutions to develop the best strategies; Development of a website that maps risk perception and identifies the most exposed areas in the urban contexts studied.

Abstract: Based on the acknowledgement that robust, comprehensive and integrated analytical frameworks for CE policy evaluation at the regional level are currently missing, the main objective of this pro-posal is to define a novel methodological approach, that allows to support the policymakers in choosing the actions to be undertaken at the regional level in order to boost the circular transition. In particular, the project consists of developing a dashboard (simulator) that allows the users to simulate the level of reached circularity of the selected territorial areas, verifying gap and potential better solutions. The policy implications will derive from a comparative analysis developed among the regions and diversified between public and private actors. By taking into account the identified best practices, the combined methodological approach proposed – consisting in a set of CE indexes and the identification of the weaknesses - will allow the evaluation of the distance of each territorial unit from the achievement of the objectives of the circular economy transition. Finally suggestions to the weakest regions about the main actions to be implemented will be of-fered.

Abstract: “The Lords of the Rings: A Comparative Lens on Ring-Compositions of Greek Lyric Poetry” (acronym LORACOLA) is a comparative investigation on a narrative pattern of Greek lyric poetry of the Archaic–Early Classical Age (7th–5th century BCE): the ring-composition. A ring-composition (or circular structure) is a way to organise a linguistic message, by framing it with equivalent words, phrases, or sound sequences. Since rings of ancient texts greatly differ, the project analyses and classifies different structure (sub)types. Moreover, it tests the hypothesis that the complex rings attested within Archaic-Early Classical Greek lyric poetry resemble those found in the most ancient poetic tradition of India and Iran (Rigveda and Avesta). It also seeks to prove that structural similarities of Greek and Indo-Iranian texts correlate with phraseological and content similarities of the same Greek and Indo-Iranian texts. The scope of the study is thus to identify Graeco-Indo-Iranian structural matches which are built through Graeco-Indo-Iranian phraseological matches, in connection with Graeco-Indo- Iranian thematic matches. Four work-packages, operating at the interface between Ancient Literature and Historical Linguistics, are designed to deliver a variety of outputs (talks, publications and database), and address the following research questions:
(1) Which types of ring-compositions are attested in Greek lyric poetry of 7th–5th century BCE?
(2) Do different (sub)types of ring-compositions attested in the Greek (selected) corpus match those found in Indo-Iranian texts?
(3) Do Graeco-Indo-Iranian structural matches further correlate with similar phraseological patterns and themes attested within the same Graeco-Indo-Iranian comparanda?
