Abstract: The project aims to produce and provide timely analyses on emerging risks from the broader Mediterranean, through the development of three Early Warning Alerts (one per quarter), each accompanied by a virtual briefing open to diplomats and policymakers of the current legislature. This effort will represent the first step in building a virtual observatory on the broader Mediterranean, which will be supported by the University of Bologna, an institution known for its area expertise.

Abstract: The project aims to explore the scope for Italy to regain a leading role in relations between the European Union and Latin America, with a view to guiding and revitalizing the Euro-Latin American partnership. Abstract: The project is part of a successful multi-year collaboration with several Ethiopian universities aimed at training technical and scientific personnel capable of cataloging, restoring, and archiving thousands of Geez-language manuscripts, part of the rich cultural heritage of Christian Ethiopia. The project also aims to create a university training course, to be held partly in Addis Ababa and partly at the University of Naples, aimed at training eight specialists in the field of cataloging, digitization, restoration, and archiving of Geez-language manuscripts. The project, which will last one year, establishes the achievement of the training objectives as a marker of passing specific exams through which participants will verify the results of the training received. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a document certifying their achievement.

Abstract: This project is part of a broader research project led by the University and called "Gender, Climate Change, Sustainable Development in the MENA Region and Africa: advancing international cooperation" which aims to investigate the interconnections between gender, climate change and sustainable development in Africa, with particular reference to South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt and Morocco.
