Admission Interviews (Mandatory)

The interviews, mandatory for all applicants, are held both in person and remotely, depending on the choice and/or availability indicated in the admission application and on the dates specified by the Second-Cycle Degree Program (i.e. Laurea Magistrale/Master Degree) in the Admission Calendar.

A Committee of two or more faculty members from the Second-Cycle Degree Program (i.e. Laurea Magistrale/Master Degree) will assess the fulfillment of curricular access requirements, the adequacy of the applicant’s academic background and language proficiency based on the submitted documentation (self-certification of exams taken, with corresponding scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD) and ECTS credits earned), as well as through a specific interview. Credits obtained through enrolment in individual courses may be recognized to make up any missing ECTS credits in SSDs required for admission to the Second-Cycle Degree Program.

In cases where the applicant holds a degree different from those mentioned above and/or has partially missing curricular requirements, the Committee will assess, through an interview, the applicant's acquired knowledge related to the archaeology, culture and histories of the ancient world. In any case, even those who meet the curricular access requirements will be required to undergo an individual interview to further discuss their study project.

The results of the evaluation and the interview schedule will be published on this webpage of the Degree Program (see the dropdown menu 'List of Admitted Students 2025/2026')

Enrolment will only be possible after the interview, in accordance with the procedures and deadlines outlined in the 2025-26 Student Guide and on the webpage of the Student Careers and Right to Education Office.

Please note that the admission interview can be taken before the scheduled graduation date. Those who are unable to attend the interview on the specified date and time indicated in the calendar can contact the Coordinator by email (valentino.nizzo@unior.it).
